Word Count: 109.
Rating: PG
Warning: Slash, although noting graphic.
Pairing: Remus/Sirius
A/N: Well i've had a little writer's block over the last few weeks and this was the first thing that came to mind. ENJOY!
It was one kiss.
Soft, lingering, bittersweet.
For a man old before his years a kiss can wash away all the memories, and yet still bring them back, knocking upon your door.
For Remus, nothing had seemed as sweet.
‘Sirius?’
They had embraced. Twelve years of longing. Twelve years of broken dreams. Twelve years of blindness, numbness, nothingness washed away.
Twelve years of cages, of forgotten hopes. Twelve years spent longing for the stars yet fearing for the moon.
Like rain after the drought.
They had embraced. They had kissed. Whimpered. Cried. Loved.
Young blood pumping an old man’s heart.
Never had bliss seem so firm. Seventeen again: immortal.
