Mal and Dom are the epitome of that Ravenclaw kid who found that piece of knowledge that could change the world AND THE FUCKED IT UP DUE TO THEIR OWN CURIOSITY. Now, it wont be dream-sharing, obvs, but I can see it being something to do with dreams/the mind. Maybe a magic to connect minds, or walk in someone's dream - control someone's dreams? ARTHUR IS SO HARD TO SORT. Like, he's BAMF but not really a Gryff. He's brave, sure, but more because he's like, meh, no one else is going to run out in front of all those order members and distract them. HE COULD TOTES BE A RAVENCLAW. But once again, he's like "yeah bid, I'm smart, I use it to my advantage." Slytherin? Maybe. But in the movie he's Cobb's right hand man. He could have his own team, he could run the show (specially after Dom lost his shit) but he doesn't. At least he doesn't run it from any where but from behind the scenes. Actually, that's kinda really snake like >.> HUSH, HE CAN'T BE IN THE SAME HOUSE AS EAMES.
EAMES ♥ He's not a Slytherin because he's a bad bloke. So yeah, so what if his house is infamous for going over to the "dark side", he's not really interested in those sorts of things. He's not a good guy, he's not a bad guy. Instead he works his job and he's going to the top. He's going to be the best.
EXACTLY. Arthur likes doing what he can do. It doesn't bother him if he works hard to do it, but he does it because he is good. at. it. Arthur doesn't even care about what they're doing, not really, he's not heartless but quite frankly, the Aurors are killing people too, more importantly, they're trying to kill Dom and Mal. He's good at what he does: he's going to protect them if he has to. So yeah, he was going to be an Unspeakable. It worked out: it's a job that was going to use him to the best ability. And then one day, Mal comes along with this idea and knows these people that are going to help her and Dom achieve it. And then Arthur thinks about it, and yeah, this new job is going to use his skills even better than that of an Unspeakable. Once he comes to that conclusion, there's not really a choice is there?

Happy Hogwarts days SHALL BE ACHIEVED. But you see, I'm me and therefore am completely unable to leave things on a happy note. ANGST. IT IS ALWAYS THERE, IN THE BACK OF MY MIND.
That being said, I'm sure there is a way to make Eames and Arthur live a kinda normal/happy life. Well, at least they wont be killed and they will be together XD
TIES. TIES ARE ALWAYS GOOD. Hogwarts ties are even better. I can picture Eames and Arthur have had their first "fumble" in the dark before breakfast one morning. In their haste to arrive to lessons on time (at Arthur's insistence) their ties get mixed up. Eames being Eames has a spare tie somewhere in his bag (HE HAS HIS REASONS), Arthur though, poor kid, has to trick Robert (his dorm mate) into giving him his tie. PARDON, WUT? I MEANT TO SAY THAT TIES SHALL BE INCLUDED, THEY SHALL.
UM, UM, MAL. Ok. I picture her and Eames being quite close. Maybe as kids? MAYBE THIS HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT.

Maybe like, how Harry would have dreams about what was going on with Voldemort because of the scar? They were working on how to get the Death Eaters and/or Voldemort to be able to do something like that, it'd be valuable intel and also great for the fear factor.
AND EXACTLY ABOUT ARTHUR AND THE SORTING!
To me, and I could write a whole essay why actually, given the natural traits of Slytherin, by the second half of the war, you'd think more of them would be staying the hell out of the heavy stuff. Staying neutral is beneficial in general (this reminds me of how the people who made the most money during the civil war were the smugglers who worked with both sides...). So Eames makes sense with the whole "Instead he works his job and he's going to the top. He's going to be the best." totally works.

Well, LOL, not being killed and being together is a happy ending in this sort of thing! I mean, given the concept ANGST is like, necessary... besides both fandoms are clearly filled with it anyways. Everyone gets all royally emotionally fucked up. That's why I love them so much!!!! (I heart emotionally broken but still BAMF characters...)

OOOh, I like that, Mal and Eames being close as little kidlets. They probably got into all sorts of trouble! School would be terribly boring without Eames and Mal so of course they have to go to the same one, or something. And she could have some connection to the UK too, which is how they got close in the first place? And they are in separate houses but screw house rivalry, like that's going to keep them from being totally awesome and sneaking off for smokes together.
